Hi, I’m Ellis! I began my journey of self discovery at the age of 15 when I heard about the teachings of Yoga from the Far East, and realized it was imperative I travel to India, find a meditation master, and attain enlightenment.

After many identity-shattering experiences of expanded consciousness, I returned to America and the world of responsibilities and relationships, and discovered that I still had much to learn and my journey of self-knowledge was only beginning. Unfortunately, my exalted experiences of “enlightenment” in India had not magically fixed all of my ego issues!

With this often painful realization, I began the study of personal growth, and it is the twin paths of personal and spiritual growth that I continue to explore today, as a 56-year-old father, artist, gardener, nature lover, writer and communicator.

More recently, after gathering information for four decades and sharing it only with a small group of friends, I began to feel a persistent inner nudge, urging me to share what I’ve learned on a wider stage. In honor of that inner nudge, I’ve created this blog, and my YouTube channel, Indivisible.
